Our tour

On the road from the station, the Shinkyo Bridge, the famous red painted wooden bridge. Here starts the walk towards the temples. To have access to the Tosho-gu Shrine, you cross a beautiful cedar forest and it is on the front of its barn that you can see the sculpture of the 3 monkeys. This is one of the oldest known representations of the 3 monkeys: Mizaru, and Kikazaru Iwazaru. "hear no evil", "see no evil", "speak no evil" and you will be happy...
If you foresee a little more time on site (a very long day or overnight stay), you can take the bus to the train station to get to Nikko Lake Chuzen-ji
, a nice spa but with a very strong “off season” character, a little higher you have the Lake Yumoto and its onsen.
